We called up some friends and went down to the beach for some blueberries, cheese, wine and crackers last week. The sun set over the sailboats and barges and the city twinkled.



Chris and Callum biked to meet us at the Maritime Museum, a special spot.

The Sofa Project

Notes for re-upholstering a sofa:

1. never utter the words "this should only take a Couple of Hours"
2. budget time as per note #1, times seven
3. apply old adage, "measure twice, cut once"
4. there's no way that trading spaces is in real time
5. the Man in your life will shamelessly reinforce Each and every aspect of the project's frame

6. re-upholstering a sofa is not a cost-saving measure
7. re-upholstering a sofa is a labour of love
8. buy the Big-box size of staples
9. surrender your workspace to your Project
10. there's no joy sitting on a sofa like the Joy of sitting on your Sofa.
